Adding another blockbuster to his already impressive resume, Russell Crowe has signed on to star in a brand new project.
The ?Robin Hood? actor will be joining forces with Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming Allen Hughes directed drama titled ?Broken City.?
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the storyline involves an ex-cop who is hired by the mayor to look into whether his wife is cheating on him. After the detective confirms the mayor's suspicions, the wife's paramour turns up dead and a larger scandal begins to surface. Crowe will play the duplicitous mayor to Wahlberg's investigator.
Filming is supposed to begin soon, but the movie won?t hit theaters until 2013.
