Need some more proof that Ryan Gosling is the perfect man? Here's a video of the hunky 30-year-old actor breaking up a New York City street fight. For real! Watch the whole crazy incident below.
OK, so first of all, let's acknowledge that it's a little weird how these teenagers with the camera are filming a street fight and giggling. (They also seem to like the phrase "Are you serious?!" a bit much.) But let's also admit that we're glad they did film it, because otherwise we'd never have gotten to see Ryan Gosling use his secret vigilante superpowers.
Typical of New Yorkers, a few random strangers try to intervene in the fight, which is happening in the middle of the street and appears to be over a stolen painting. Then one particularly tall and handsome fellow walks up to the scene and pushes the dudes apart. There's a sudden burst of shrieking as all the onlookers realize at once that the guy is Gosling -- or, as one voice confirms, "The guy from the movies. The Notebook!"
Gosling's rep has not confirmed whether this is, in fact, the actor on the tape, or simply someone who looks a whole lot like him. But Gosling is frequently spotted in this particular area of New York City, the tattoo on the Good Samaritan's arm sure looks like Gosling's tattoo of the Giving Tree, and the man has the toned body that Gosling sported in Crazy, Stupid, Love. That's enough proof for us -- let the swooning commence!
