A newborn baby was part of the plot in "Due Date," but it was Emma Stone doing the cradling after she beat Zach Galifianakis (and three other guys) at the MTV Movie Awards.
"This is my child," Stone joked with MTV News backstage at the Gibson Amphitheatre as she lovingly cradled the Golden Popcorn she nabbed for Best Comedic Performance. "I'm going to [feed him]. I'm going to every day.
"It's never happened before," she added. "I've never won any award before, so this is very exciting."
"Easy A" earned Stone the win over Galifianakis, Adam Sandler ("Just Go With It"), Ashton Kutcher ("No Strings Attached") and Russell Brand ("Get Him to the Greek"). "In a category with four hilarious comedic men? I did not think I was going to win," she said. "So I'm incredibly flattered and honored.
"And it's so nice, because it's voted on by the public, which is an unbelievable honor," she added.
The 22-year-old actress was on hand as a presenter alongside her "Crazy, Stupid, Love" co-stars Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell. She was also nominated in the Best Female Performance category, which went to Kristen Stewart for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."
Stone, who just wrapped shooting "The Amazing Spider-Man," said she was genuinely surprised by her win in the Best Comedic Performance category.
"Did that speech seem prepared?" she pointed out, laughing. "I don't even know what I said! I was just concentrating on not falling over. Once you get up there, it's a very shaky experience."
