While Charlie Sheen has been rambling about trolls and warlocks, his ex-wives have been thinking about clowns and pinatas. According to E! Online, three of Sheen's children celebrated birthdays this weekend -- and Sheen was cordially not invited to the festivities.
The birthday parties were held in honor of Sam, Sheen's elder daughter with Denise Richards, and twins Bob and Max, his children with soon-to-be-ex-wife Brooke Mueller. For Sam's 7th birthday (March 9), Richards threw a party at a gymnastics studio on Sunday. Later that same day, Mueller feted the twins' second birthday (March 14) in the backyard of family friend Kathy Hilton's mansion. We were surprised to learn that Sheen's exes actually coordinated with each other to make sure that the parties didn't conflict.
"Brooke wanted the boys' birthday party to be early from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. because Sam's party is from 2 p.m.-4 p.m," a source told E!.
But neither of Sheen's baby mamas wanted Charlie to be part of her birthday bash. Although Mueller and Sheen worked out a mutually agreeable custody arrangement last week, Mueller still has a restraining order against Sheen for allegedly making violent threats against her. And just two weeks ago, after that 20/20 interview, Mueller had the boys forcibly removed from Sheen's care by the police -- so we doubt she's ready to pass the birthday cake yet.
Richards, on the other hand, has made an effort to keep Charlie close to their daughters, even inviting him to spend holidays with them after his divorce from Mueller. But lately, Richards seems more protective of Sam and Lola. She admits that she's struggling to figure out how to explain Sheen's issues to her daughters, even though "this is not a new situation." Maybe she's decided that it's better to keep her kids far away from Sheen until he gets his act together -- which, honestly, doesn't seem like a bad idea.
Sheen, meanwhile, spent the weekend racking up ticket sales for his just-announced live comedy show, My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option. (Really. Do you think we'd make that up?)
"Detroit/Chicago sold out in minutes," Sheen tweeted on Saturday. "Thanks to Sheen's Cadre..! WINNING."
Kind of sad that Sheen's "cadre" doesn't include his own family.
