Chris Brown's violent outburst after a Good Morning America appearance Tuesday morning apparently hasn't damaged his relationship with ABC.
The 21-year-old singer shattered a dressing room window and stormed out of the ABC News building shirtless following an interview with Robin Roberts, in which the anchor brought up Brown's 2009 felony beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna. But despite the meltodwn, Brown has been invited back for a second GMA interview.
"I wish him the absolute best," Roberts said Wednesday morning. "We extended the invitation to him (to come back), and sure hope he takes us up on it because I'd sure love to have another chat with him."
"Any time we have a guest, we let them know ahead of time the subject matter and the topics," the morning host said. "And even right before the interview I let him know. I was shocked like everyone else, because we've had a wonderful relationship. I've been to his home, he's very gracious, and we've had easy conversation."
Luckily for Brown, sources tell TMZ that ABC will not be pressing charges against him. The NYPD will also not investigate the situation because thankfully no one was injured.
Roberts and ABC aren't the only ones who are willing to forgive and forget. Brown's new album, F.A.M.E., debuted at the top of the iTunes music charts Tuesday as the site's most downloaded record! Goes to show: There really is no such thing as bad publicity.
