To all the Gleeks out there, are you ready for your favorite small-screen musical to hit the big screen?

We hope so, because 20th Century Fox is likely making dreams come true for the most devout "Glee" fans by announcing Wednesday (May 4) plans for a 3-D Glee-stravaganza in the form of "Glee! Live! 3-D!," a concert movie based on the upcoming Glee Live! In Concert! North American tour.

According to Deadline, the studio plans to follow in the footsteps of previously released and highly successful concert movies like Michael Jackson's "This Is It" and Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" and release the film for a two-week engagement starting August 12. "Glee! Live! 3-D!" will be directed by Kevin Tancharoen, whose most recent directorial effort was the "Fame" remake.

Most, but not all, of the popular cast will make appearances in the film, by way of their performances on the tour: Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam), Darren Criss (Blaine) and Ashley Fink (Lauren).

Noticeably absent from the concert lineup are standouts Matthew Morrison (Mr. Schuester), who likely has a lot going on in promoting his upcoming solo album, and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester). However, since the movie is based on the concert tour, there is a good chance Morrison and Lynch will pop up along the way somewhere, especially given their surprise appearance last year at a New York City show at Radio City Music Hall last year.
